TPA: The Story

The Pickleball Alliance began as a wisp of an idea between three teenage friends. Driven by a love for racquet sports and an even deeper desire to give back, the trio set out to bring something new to their community—an organization dedicated to uniting the local population whilst making an impact across the globe.

Today, The Pickleball Alliance stands as a testament to three young people’s belief in the power of community and purpose. As new tournaments are held, that spark of ambition and kindness continues to grow, bringing even more people into the fold of a movement rooted in friendship, compassion, and a love for pickleball.

Since our founding, we've raised money for the following charities:

May 17th Friday Night Lights Tournament: Proceeds went to the Himalayan Health Initiative, an organization dedicated to establishing and maintaining women's health clinics in northern India.

July 20th Summer Showdown Tournament: Proceeds went to the American Red Cross, to assist in Hurricane Beryl relief efforts.

November 23rd Veterans Day Tournament: Proceeds went to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, a charity dedicated to supporting veterans in our area.

Our Founders:

Eshaan Sheth - President

Currently a senior in high school, Eshaan saw an opportunity to make an impact through uniting those who shared his admiration for the sport. His experiences through starting TPA have allowed him to understand the adversity that comes with building an organization from scratch, whilst also witnessing the reward of giving back. His visionary perspective, combined with his love for the community, help drive the growth of TPA. He intends to pursue a career in pediatric surgery, a profession suited to fulfill his passion for fostering meaningful change in the lives of others.

Naseem Rahman - Chief of Operations

A collegiate sophomore in New York, Naseem's contributions and leadership within the organization, given the long-distance, have been nothing short of extraordinary. His sense of initiative and hunger to never settle have played a significant factor in the rapid development of TPA. His dedication to the cause, driven by an admiration of the direct impact being made, is beyond no other, and has served as a foundation upon which the organization is built. Pursuing a major in broadcast journalism, Naseem looks to use his never-ending love for sports to connect, uplift, and bring about positive change across the globe.

Vedanth Chamala - Chief of Tournaments

A valuable asset to the leadership team, Vedanth has provided countless insight into the construction of TPA, serving as a significant factor in the success of the organization. He eagerly approached the opportunity, bringing vibrant ideas and a relentless work ethic. A senior in high school, Vedanth plans on majoring in computer science, utilizing his innovative mindset and superb critical thinking skills to fulfill his aspirations of developing artificial intelligence programs capable of solving humanitarian issues.
